Catch the bunker codes

This page listens to the in-game radio and works out the three bunker locations and PINs for you.

  1. In DayZ, tune the radio to 80.0 MHz (night time only) and leave it playing.
  2. Open this page on your second screen if you have one, so you can watch it work.
  3. Press Start capture below. When the picker opens, choose Entire Screen (any screen is fine).
  4. At the bottom of the picker, turn on Share system audio. Without it the page hears nothing.
  5. Go back to the game and keep listening. Each bunker appears here as soon as a full message has been heard, and turns green once heard twice.
Keep DayZ in focus. The game goes quiet when you click away from it, so nothing can be captured. Stay in the game until you have heard everything.
Only one screen? Stay in the game until all three bunkers have played, about 5 minutes. Then switch back to this page to read the results. The first message you join is skipped, so allow for a full loop.
Browser: use Chrome or Edge on a computer. Phones, Safari and Firefox cannot capture system audio.
Testing with a recording? Load an audio file

  1. Press Capture system audio, choose Entire Screen and tick Share system audio.
  2. Tune the in-game radio to 80.0 MHz at night and let it loop. Digits turn green once heard twice.
